Over on the Temple of the Seven Golden Camels blog, I found this wonderful guide to making comic strips by a famous Disney artist called Carson Van Osten. Mr. Osten gave the blog author the originals he did ages ago for Disney so that he could scan them in hi res.
The whole thing is on the blog as jpg files and you should take a look at the rest of the blog as it has so many amazing tips, news etc. on it in relation to comics, animation and storyboarding.
