Back!
Hi all, been a while hasn’t it?
Unfortunately, I think I might have to beg you all to bear with and in fact expect these little absences of mine. My other company, combined with the vicissitudes of every day Nigerian life, will always conspire to rob me of time that could have been spent on here bringing you all broadcasts from imagination radio.
Anyway, I am definitely still working on all the things I have been talking about, Africa Benson, Tenugo etc. And I am developing a couple more titles – some written by me, some not – destined for print. And then of course you guys and gals will still have AB tshirts for the Chrsitmas so look out for those.
Truth is that we have encountered a few bumps on the road to getting our first print comic out there and into your hands, one of the chief culprits being the current economic climate within and outside the country, but we are getting there.
Thanks so much for staying tuned to the blog, I just beg for your indulgence with regards to delays with the Tenugo webcomic and general blogging.
I have installed a wordpress app for my blackberry so hopefully I should at least be able to update a little bit more frequently with regards to articles etc.
Also, do follow me on twitter – www.twitter.com/Spaceboy_ng for some more frequent updates and random thoughts and insights (not necessarily insightful though).

I must commend you for great creative support for making comic live in the heart of Nigerian that tunes to this web-site.Your dedication in seeing to it that comic has a great depth, width and lenght will not be a mere outcome but rather will lead the past, present and future comic people to that which you’ve been striving for. You’ve created a Legacy already like the Seeker did.You conceived the Nigerian Comic Nation.Although,I must say all things will be best if prayers are putting consideration. So our comic people, let us pray so that we might see that great morrow, and let’s do one or two things to make it sour in the mind of every Nigerian.
However,on personal note.I don’t think I should be posting this but anyway I am.Straight to the point;I will love to be a free-lance artist in this alliance too.Though I’ve not got artwork to show this but I’m confident enough that I’m capable.if there’s anyway we could contact I’m willing to pay the price. If you’ve my e-mail we could negotiate privately on it.Thank you.
Look men.I’m not wanting to sound naive but I’m not just getting any respond men. I’m very serious with this ’cause I feel I’m loosing my wing here man. I know I’m not making this look serious but if I can get a point of contact it will help.To be sincere, this is like an experience of a life time for me and doing this is what I take upon myself.I strongly believe in you in making Nigerian comics happen in Nigeria man. And I will take it upon myself if I don’t help do it with the best impossibly-possible way I can.I’m not wanting to flatter you though, but as I said,You are like the seeker and I’m bitterly sorry to I’ve been confessed to do this.Thank you.
P.S: at list you can send anything as a respond.
Hiya Newman,
So sorry I didn’t reply to your earlier comment. Well, I am always interested in working with artists, but as I am sure you appreciate, I cannot make a decision about you and your work either unless I have indeed seen samples of it already.
If possible, do try and get me some examples of your work to have a look at. If you don’t have easy access to a scanner, then perhaps a phone camera could be used to take a picture of the art and then you cld email it afterward.
Thanks for your kind words, looking forward to seeing your stuff.
Take care.
P.s.
Alright,I’ve finally put something down for you to see.I believe if you check my pictures on facebook you will find something interesting enough, though I could successfully put only a few in it.Go at futuristochike@yahoo.com or simply search for Nwankwo Newman Chike.
Thank you.
