Thanks for following the blog and webcomic. Even though it’s been a bit of a rough year, I think that things have been able to get to a point where they can only get better.

Hi all, been a while hasn’t it?

Unfortunately, I think I might have to beg you all to bear with and in fact expect these little absences of mine. My other company, combined with the vicissitudes of every day Nigerian life, will always conspire to rob me of time that could have been spent on here bringing you all broadcasts from imagination radio.

Anyway, I am definitely still working on all the things I have been talking about, Africa Benson, Tenugo etc. And I am developing a couple more titles – some written by me, some not – destined for print. And then of course you guys and gals will still have AB tshirts for the Chrsitmas so look out for those.

Truth is that we have encountered a few bumps on the road to getting our first print comic out there and into your hands, one of the chief culprits being the current economic climate within and outside the country, but we are getting there.

Thanks so much for staying tuned to the blog, I just beg for your indulgence with regards to delays with the Tenugo webcomic and general blogging.

I have installed a wordpress app for my blackberry so hopefully I should at least be able to update a little bit more frequently with regards to articles etc.

• Just had a surge of creative energy this morning. Time to use it! #

• Woke up to some light browsing of foreign comic bk artists' sites. Got me thinking about how little we can afford to pay our own artists. #
• The industry needs to be bigger before rates go up, but maybe that won't happen til we as pubs n creators go bigger too. Throw more cash in. #
• If one had a serious budget, directed at pushing comics all over nigeria with proper promos etc. One might be able to jumpstart the industry #
• How much money would be required to do make it happen I wonder? Would it be worth it to invest that much in comics here? Anyway, gd mornin! #

Colouring and lettering the 3 issue miniseries was a very humbling and inspiring experience. It showed me firsthand how much work goes into bringing a single issue of any comic book and has further strengthened my resolve to be up to the task.

I apologise for all the mistakes and amateurism in the colouring of the issues, but I hope that you will take that in good faith!

I think I might try and start doing more of these.
